Accords of the Natural Law of Magic

The Accords of the Natural Law of Magic is a set of edicts transcribed and decided by Archmagus of the Academy Arcana Bellum, Kendric Flamehands. The accords proclaim principles of the usage of magicks and define a strict outlaw on necromancy and other fel magicks. It is the first proclamation of its kind in Dargarth.

The Accords

• Any magus guilty of Necromancy shall be declared a warlock or witch and a traitor to all good people. Such individuals are to be hunted and seized by the Disciples of Malum or their brothers in the Wolves of the Tower, with all possible aid granted by signatory members of the Accords of the Natural Law of Magic.
• Contact with spirits beyond the mortal world is strictly limited to clerics and priests. Spirits from beyond the mortal coil are not to be contacted or conjured by any magi from non-clerical disciplines of magic. Any magus guilty of such demonology shall be declared a warlock or witch and a traitor to all good people. Such individuals are to be hunted and seized by the Disciples of Malum or their brothers in the Wolves of the Tower, with all possible aid granted by signatory members of the Accords of the Natural Law of Magic.
• All signatory members of the Accords of the Natural Laws of Magic do hereby swear and affirm that they will provide all possible aid to their brethren in case of supernatural threat. Any signatory of the Accords who reneges on this promise in time of need shall be a known coward and oathbreaker, unfit for any further association with the academy.
• The Academy Arcana Bellum pledges to provide a training ground for youthful magi from every school of magic to grow into the fullness of their potential.

Criticisms

Many citizens criticize the accords as too strict, citing medicine-men and fortune tellers being arrested, never to be heard from again.
