Random notes and brain storms

Despite never having memories of the moment of supposed death, individuals often retain memories of what presumably comes after, but before being returned to their bodies. It is rare but not unheard of for an individual to recall speaking with "Hades," which is generally believed to a facet of the god in his role as death.

A seemingly straightforward faith, it has at times spawned sophisticated theologians and warrior-philosophers, who attempt to explain such aspects as how one "dies" when one is already dead, what our "bodies" are composed of, and if we are "mortal," given that we can die, but also inevitably return to life?

quotes/thoughts

"We reside within the land of Valhalla; it is only logical for no matter how many times we slaughter our foes, or ourselves are slain, we rise again to do battle.

Thus there is little reason to fear death, or take issue against those who slay us in honest battle; blood feuds are even more meaningless than they were in the mortal world before. The only things that matter are land (for where will we live), resources (for how will do we battle), and honor (for even more than before, we will be with these people unto eternity.

But take issue with those that act cowardly, or do not keep their word, for pain is still real, and if we are in this place to do battle, then those that cause pain and use treachery are to be disdained and struck down without mercy." ~ Rasheab
