"The Codex of Myriad Beasts" is a compendium of the denizens of Dargarth, documenting: traits, tendencies, relations with intelligent humanoids, conflict tactics, and other general useful knowledge for adventurers and scholars alike. (Eventually) essential for adventuring parties exploring new lands and expanding their country's claim.
