Morigan
Morigan hails from, Grenok, a small farming community in the water soaked river valley that nourishes and supports Mardur. She grew as most orcs do, simply and a bit too fast. Though originally arranged to become her village's medicine woman and sage, she was drafted into the Mardurian army, and soon found herself enrolled in the Free College of Sorcery where she graduated from in DY 6.
Apart from her duties as a regular in the Mardurian army and occasionally advising Thorne on magical matters, Morigan is also pursuing research into the nature of magical rifts and their interactions with relics of power.
An avid believer in the college's mission to allow anyone to explore magic freely, Morigan has extensively contributed to the Grimore of Open Sourcery and wrote an essay exploring magical phenomenon within Dargarth, which she distributed widely (mostly via gaseous form).
The War of the Rift
Morigan was present for The War of the Rift of DY 7. She helped recover the lost artifacts of the magi scholars and successfully completed the Trials of the Magi. She, along with Gurp Gorp and Obi, defeated the avatar Uurgal-Who-Feeds-the-Crows, and held the Bracer of Mending until it was lost during the ill fated journey of The Fortune's Breath.
Year of the Demon Invasions
Morgian acted as seneschal of the first Crown War during which she was tricked by Prof. Art Tillery into participating in a ritual that revealed the location of the gathered heroic forces and connected her to Envee the All Seeing which may explain her recent obsession with discovering a spell capable of binding extraplanar spirits.
She helped many others seal the demon lord during the Siege on the Sunken Citadel though her memories of the sunken dungeon are fragmented and sparse.
