Devotion and prayer seem wildly out of place for this chaotic race, but Shaman have been observed performing rituals and chanting incantations. Instead of donning armour like the rest of the tribe, the Shaman prefers to adorn oneself in idols, armbands and anklets, and multiple tribal piercings. Often appearing in a daze, and swinging about bushels of sour smoking brush, it appears the Shaman's spirituality and practice has gifted it magical abilities. There is only one Shaman per tribe.

Bugbear Shaman should not be ignored or discounted because of their less threatening appearance, their magical capabilities give it range, and its wall of followers will protect the Shaman with their lives. Reports also state that the Shaman has a minor ability to heal in battle, further bolstering its threat. The Bugbear Shaman should be the party's main target, should an encounter arise.
