Varador grew up believing he was half elf, having been raised with elves he never learned what happened to his people. After joining the mercenaries of bitter peak, he discovered the dwarven archives beneath the city. The archives provide a chance for varador to study all the knowledge the dwarves had gained in their many centuries inhabiting the mountain, and in relative peace due to the fact the mercenaries are not exactly known for reading books.
