Marek is a representative of the Dwarven Kingdoms of the north to the Explorers Guild at the behest of Kendric. He is a Cleric of the Forge Father, a principle dwarven deity. He specializes in front line healing in the thick of combat welding ancestral weapons of his hold, primarily Axes and Heavy Maces.

He currently runs a traveling tavern that tends to set up very close to the most difficult battles the people of Dargarth face. No matter what part of the realm they may be in, folks of all types are often not far away from drinks or food at the Tavern.

"The Tavern" is a real physical place at most games, marked off by Ropes and metal stakes. It can be identified by the Large Red and Gold flag bearing the image of an Anvil. All drinks in the tavern cost In Game "gold", rather than real world money. However real money tips are appreciated to keep it going and lower the cost.
