Biography
Caoimhe is the great-grand daughter of Bodvarr's great-grand uncle, the King who closed RagnFjord. Caoimhe greatly resembles her grandfather Erlingr (AIR-ling-er), the youngest son of Bodvarr's great-grand uncle. Erlingr escaped RagnFjord early in his fathers' reign to illegally go viking after mudering a man over debts. After kidnapping Damhnait (dev-NAWT), a Sanctuary woman, for a wife, he settled in the city of Bitter Peak, establishing a thieves ring. When Caoimhe was a young child the theives ring was removed by competitors, leaving only Caoimhe and Damhnait alive. The two escaped to Sanctuary, where Caoimhe infamously did not fit in, constantly questioning, exploring, and fighting.
10 years after returning to Sanctuary, Damhnait died, leaving Caoimhe free (and heartily encouraged by her neighbors) to leave and make her way in the world as she wished. After pick-pocketing her way around Dargarth, she returned to Bitter Peak where she was recognized by her grandfather's competitors. While dealing with the mess of this recognition, she learned who her grandfather was and where he had come from. Caoimhe was able to return to RagnFjord after Bodvarr became king.
Perhaps she will find a place among the cold rocks and broad axes of her ancestors. Though not in the Royal Family, blood kin though they are - too many rules, and too many potential assassins to worry about. Caoimhe would rather be the assassin than the target.
Appearance
Typically wearing grey or green, Caoimhe's wardrobe only makes a small nod to the orange required of her country. She has commented that 'Orange stands out in the shadows too much'.
Personality
A great lover of jokes, Caoimhe can come across as light-hearted and boisterous. While this behavior is somewhat genuine, it is also a cover for an observant and almost coldly pragmatic mind. If the death of one will save many, she will kill the one. And if the death of many will bring renown and riches (emphasis on the riches part), then by the Morrigan they will die.
Caoimhe only periodically takes to the field of battle, preferring instead to advance causes and remove obstacles with subtler means. Or poison. Poison can work too. When she does take to the field, it's typically with a sword and dagger, and an eye for looting corpses. Or killing a specific person, if the price is right.
