{{#if:Arctic|}} Abominable Snowmen, also called Yeti, are related to the Sasquatch. The primary difference is one of habitat: Abominable Snowmen are found in icy arctic areas instead of temperate forests like their Sasquatch cousins. The name is deceiving, as reports have confirmed both male and female Yeti.

Appearance

Abominable Snowmen are towering humanoids covered in thick hair, which excels at trapping warmth, to protect from the more extreme climate. Additionally, their coats are a sharp white, which provides good camouflage against snowbanks and ice of the tundra. They are often bulkier than their Sasquatch cousins, although this may be to preserve warmth and store fat during harsh winter months.

Behaviour

Preferring to not to engage in conflicts, the Abominable Snowman is rarely seen, most likely due to its natural camouflage and seemingly observant nature. Conflicts have been reported when an adventuring party encroaches upon the Abominable Snowman's territory, or den. Perhaps only acting violently to protect its den or young. It is unclear if the snowmen have an affinity towards valuable metals, but reports have shown the occasional silver or gold vein inside Yeti dens. They appear to reside in small packs and act violently in groups.

Combat

Because of their adaptations to their cold homes, Abominable Snowmen have a resistance to cold magicks and their thick hides offer further resilience to physical damage. Besides this, they do battle in a similar manner to Sasquatch, they have a strong ability to hide. The first warning of attack is often an enraged Abominable Snowman charging down a snowbank, followed shortly by the rest of the pack.
