Basics and Relations
Oft times spotted in ancient ruins of dead civilizations or accompanying powerful wizards, Stone golems are classified together for their mineral make-up. Vast arrays of minerals have been used in the constructs, and at this time no trend has been found. Individual mobility, tactics, combat effectiveness, and behavior vary so wildly, that currently generalization is all that can be done. It is assumed that Stone Golems are not organic and are the product of magics, from not only earthly animators, but possibly gods as well.
Combat
Previous battle reports have shown that Stone Golems, while not being agile combatants, prove to be most resilient to physical damage. Magical attacks seem to affect the constructs normally, with no displays of any sort of resistances. There appears to be no specific means to the defeat of Stone Golems, seemingly the least magically instilled of the golem family.. Its immense physical hardiness is the key to the golem’s threat. Heavily armed, skilled fighters and magical firepower are crucial if conflict occurs.
